So I have a pal getting married this weekend and I agreed to host his bachelor party at my place last Saturday.. It consists of trap shooting, fishing and 4 wheelers. I didnt know it was going to be 16 guys with 4 wheelers but hey all was good till about 12:30 a.m when a drunkin bastage trys to do a super man over the road.. Needless to say broke his collar bone in 3 places. His friend drives him into ER and I thought nothing of it and we went about our business. We ended up going for a 2 a.m hill climb contest and one guy runs out of gas, I headed back to my house for some gas, only to find a Sherrif there wanting some questions answered. He asked if I was alone and I said "yes" bad answer. I didnt want to throw my buds under the bus that were down on Burlington Northerns property. But as he would have it he knew the truth.. Was a long night of 3 Sherrifs chasing 40 year old guys around on 4 wheelers but I just had to share after they rounded us all up the 23 year old deputy said "and HOW old are you guys?" and at that point they actually laughed it off and let everybody go EXCEPT for me. I got the only ticket for riding ATV on roadway. MORAL of this story, ALWAYS name drop the senior deputy as many times as possible and be sure you know him AND if someone is hurt on your property make sure and drag there carcuss to the public road to prevent a lawsuit! Cause that is the real reason they were hunting us down. OH, and since my sons both had a friend sleep over that night...be sure and call there parents to tell them the reason cops are swarming the home there kids are staying at.
