Sounds pretty interesting...That would be an expensive trip for any chase/support boats. Some of those open water areas can get pretty unforgiving, should make for an intense race.

That was my 1st thoughts on this Robert. The safety/legal aspects of staging something like have got to be very expensive. Sounds like they are going to run it in stages of day races so they can pretty much have one large mothership watching over the whole field. Ariver race up or down the yukon would be one thing. Or even something that circled Pws... but this sounds just nuts! Hey, Maybe we can get Dougie to sign up

No kiddin there Tim, back in the day we used to cross the inlet from Anc and ride the little Su, or blast down in Seward, Homer, Whittier, Placer, 20 mile, all over. Too much fun.
