Gotta give a huge thanks to Turbo Performance (Bryce) for the kit on my 2010 xp and also utah sledder for all your help on the install. Started the build back in the end of october and took my time making sure everything was in there right (first turbo build for me). Then the waiting game began for some snow.....well we still dont have much snow and i couldnt take it any more. Took the sled out today for a "road ride" and after a couple minor adjustments on fueling, clutching and a quick trim of the spring on the bov all i can say is HELL YA!!! We tried our luck on a couple small pulls along side the road and my sled ripps! I have a grin i cant get off my face. When i got home my wife said soooo.... how was it and then she noticed the perma grin and said well it must of been good. Running a 2860 at around 7 pounds of boost. It is very responsive with pretty much zero lag. Now we just need some good snow to really put it to the test. Thanks again utah sledder and Brycter.:D

Good to hear it's working great. Pretty amazing how simple it is to make the carb turbo's work. Any pics of the build? I always like to see the variations of install even w/ the same kit.

SWREV.....When i started the build i took some pics and then my attention went totally to the build and i forgot to continue taking progress pics so sorry nothing to intersting show. And yes it is pretty simple on a carbed sled even for a stupid head like me. I still have alot to learn but ive got the basics down and now on to a little more in depth stuff. Doing the build myself helped me understand alot of how it all functions.

TJX.... Yes it had run on and that is why i trimmed her up a little. around 2 coils and i might go just a tad bit more. This is my fisrt boosted sled so i dont know what it should exactly feel like ...yet. When i would come over the top of the hill it still felt like it had a little run on. My buddy told me when the sled is under a load it will be diffrent so i will wait for a good powder day to decide if i am going to take any more off.

I'm having a bit of run on as well, might have to try trimming my spring also.

trimming up my spring really made a diffrence. Before i did the run on was really bad. Its a quick simple fix to something that could end your day of riding real fast when your in the tight trees.

Where are you referencing your fuel pressure? I switched mine to the center section of the pipe, very impressed so far. Also made my blow off work better. Fuel pressure was t'd w/ blow off before from carbs so I think I was loosing to much of the vacuum signal to get the blow off to work well.

I put a turbo performance kit on my xp this year as well and had "run on" my first ride. I went to Ace hardware with the original BOV spring and found one lighter but close to the same length and no more run on. The thing pulls hard at 7-8 psi boost. Waiting for some deeper snow to turn it up and see what its like at 10-12. I will say with every question I had the turboboyz have had the answers. One test ride and a couple minor adjustments, now its just pull the rope and play. :face-icon-small-hap

Lately, i have done lots of garage riding!!!I like to get around and hit lots of areas. Most of the time for close trips it is either soapstone, fairview, strawberry area. Wyoming is usaully in the picture every year. Funny thing is i live 15 min from American fork canyon and didnt even get there once last year. Utah_sledder...that guy is like a fart in skillet:smile::smile: he gets around and i cant keep up with him and his addiction!! He is always on the go and has his favorite spots i suppose.... i just dont know them. What about you?

Being from the Logan area....Logan Canyon, Tony Grove, Franklin, Beaver Creek....Wyoming once or twice a year. Sometimes we try to make the FV shootout. I've never heard of soapstone. I've heard the Uintahs can be fun. Don't know any spots up AF canyon. Guess i should get in the Utah section more often...lol.
