Snowy rider...

I live in Denver but mostly ride the Snowies, I wanted to start this as an on going thread for me as well as others to post dates and places they'll be riding up there!! I usually stay at Wycolo for the overnights and ride with all types from bringing new friends up all the time to riding with novice guys that I've been riding with for years!!

I'm headed up the Dec 28th early and riding, staying 1 night and leaving the 29th evening. Riding with an old friend and his boy who have been around the block a couple times! Be staying at Wycolo and will go as far north as Albany, even if you wanna hook up that night for a beer or 7, be glad to have ya!

I'm also planning on going up with the wifey Jan 4th and 5th, she gets around pretty good as well- good teacher...

Good idea, I live in CO but mostly ride the Range as well. This is my wife's first year on a sled (and my first in quite awhile) so I'm sure she would like to find another female rider to help her out on a few rides up there. We are usually only able to go on weekends but will be planning a longer trip for early 2011. So if anyone else is a "rookie" or doesn't mind showing a greenhorn (or two) around, let us know

Snow was great this week especially in a couple of my stashes... I got out just as this storm was hitting so I missed this fresh stuff but some buddies are still tearing it up out there. Have the 13-15 off but better to do some close to Denver riding. Planning on the snowiest again the 26ish - 29ish... be careful out there!!

So I think I nailed down a trip at the end of Jan, 26-29 is what it looks like. My wife is coming along and we'll prolly stay at Wycolo. Riding with Kim and Ferring Cooper if anyone knows them, great folks outta Fox Park who got skills, and we'll be all over. Say hi if you see us, me- blacked out 154 skidoo with yellow headlights- yellow gear, wifey will be on Polaris black and red switchback, Kim and Ferring prolly on 09 blue and white doos... holla!
