We new to the area and wanted to know if anyone has a few photos of the cabins and or lodge. We were looking at renting the pioneer cabin. But the web site shows a small slight inside view. I have done several searches and cant seem to find anything.

Thanks in advance!

would not reccomend staying there..look through old threads and most on here agree.
high price, grumpy people, not a sled friendly place

my group stayed there last year for a week they are under new ownership and we all thought they were very friendly people the cabin rental was like 170 a night but it is the closest place to a the playing areas real close, otherwise you have to ether trailer them from larimie and finding a place to park is a nightmare, also the other closest place to stay is albany lodge where you have to ride 40 miles on rough trails to get to the steep and deep, and waste alot of gas on trails, we had a great trip staying there the only complant i had was, dont buy gas at snowy mount lodge it is about 2 bucks a gallon more then larimie my group plans on staying there this year also.

purepolaris600 you must have caught them on an odd week because they'v never been friendly when we'r out there..

Mountain Meadow Cabins is right next to SML, so there is another option at Greenrock

I don't know which trails you are talking about, but it is not 40 miles from Albany to the "steep and deep" It's about half that.

1. 21 miles from Albany to the intersection of T & U - within a few miles of that you can hit the hills.

2. 18 miles from Albany you can drop into Seven Fools

That being said, all the good snow is up on top of the mountain and all of the expert riders ride out of Greenrock.

I've ridden Snowies a bunch of times and have never heard of "Seven Fools", could you tell me where that is? Always looking for new areas:face-icon-small-hap

Thanks

I'm always up for an adventure! I'm betting I've been there before, just didn't know what its called...

Thanks, we drop in there every trip. Always nice playing in that area. We always call it French Creek. I didn't know it has ever slid, good to know we'll definitely need to be more careful
