Snowpulse Vest vs. Backpack

I am looking to buy an avi pack. Was looking at the Snowpulse Vest vs. the Highmark back pack.
The backpack apparently inflates around your face and down the front of your chest vs. the vest that inflates more behind your head.

Some people say the pack is a safer bet than the vest, but the vest is so much more comfortable....

I am looking for some thoughts, insight, advice.

Any thoughts fellas?

I personally think the vest is more comfortable than the pack. But as you mention, the vest doesn't have the "protection" shaped airbag like the highmark pro pack does.

I ride with the highmark vest because it is so comfortable and doubles as a chest protector.
Either one is great and you wont be disappointed!

I ride with the snowpulse vest and found it to be pretty sweet. I haven't had to pull the chord for an emergency but I sure feel better wearing it.

They are all heavier then we want but I found the vest helps spread the weight better, and it has a lot of support by the way it hugs you. I have never wore a back pack style avy pack so I might be biased
