This year's snowpack has been odd. Not much down low until very recently, and water holes in the snowpack at mid elevations. However, the actual amount of snow we have in the mountains seems to be in very good shape and getting better by the day. Looking at our year in comparison to 2012. we are similar... This is for Marten Ridge Snotel at Mt Baker.
Feb 28th, 2018 - 150in at 60in of water content
Feb 27th, 2012 - 150in at 60in of water content.. I remember 2012 being exceptionally good.
Feb 27, 2011 - 110in at 45in water content
For some reason they don't have 14/15 years, but we can look at 2009 a really poor year to make us feel good about this year.
If you do the same comparisons for Elbow Lake and NF Nooksack it gets more interesting.
