Just what I grabbed from the Kamloops local news:
Snowmobilers Die in Collision February 25th, 2008
TWO SNOWMOBILERS HAVE DIED AFTER AN APPARENT ACCIDENT SOUTH OF LOGAN LAKE EARLY SATURDAY. A GROUP OF SNOWMOBILERS WAS SPENDING THE WEEKEND AT CHATAWAY LAKE, BETWEEN LOGAN LAKE AND MERRITT, WHEN TWO MEN HEADED OUT FOR A MIDNIGHT RIDE. CONSTABLE TRACEY DUNSMORE SAYS WHEN THEY DID NOT RETURN A FRIEND WENT LOOKING FOR THEM, FINDING THEM ON NEARBY DOT LAKE. DUNSMORE SAYS IT LOOKS LIKE THEY COLLIDED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LAKE, AND WERE BOTH THROWN FROM THEIR MACHINES. BOTH MEN WERE DECLARED DEAD ON SCENE. THE MEN HAVE NOT BEEN IDENTIFED, BUT ONE IS A RESIDENT OF SURREY, THE OTHER LIVED IN COQUITLAM.
Thoughts and prayers for the families...
