Snowmobile Wheel Kit

Does anyone remember about 20 years ago there were a handful of these wheel kits around for converting a snowmobile into summertime use?

With the high costs of todays sleds I think it may be time to revisit this idea.
I'm thinking as wide & low as practically possible for highway use.
(possibly similar to the BRP Spyder)
Licensing requirements would be a small issue.
I believe here in SD a lighted license plate, horn & mirrors are all that would be required.

What would be the downside of using a set-up much like the asphalt racers?

How would you lube the hifax and keep the engine cool(unless you have a car/motorbike type rad)?

lubricating hifax

My neighbor has a windshield wiper motor and bottle to lubricate the hifax. It works well in the spring when our road is aspalt and snow.
