Snowmobile Wall Tent Rentals

We are thinking of putting up 2 Heated Wall Tents in the Hummingbird Sledding area just west of Ram Falls near Rocky Mnt House, AB this xmas and keep up till spring to Rent out to Sledders, snowshoers, xcountry skiers etc.

Do you think that this is something that you guys would use? If there is intrest we are doing it, if not,,,,,,,

They would be situated next to 2 sledding trails that head into the Onion Lake and Ranger Creek Random Sledding Areas.
We are think of charging: $50. per tent and $20. per person. All wood to heat the tents is supplied.
Thanks,
Brad

I think one thing I would do: when you tarp it try to provide a gap between the tent roof and tarp. This is easier said than done, but will be beneficial to you in several ways. :)

We have also spaced the tarp away from the tent canvas. We cut strips of hardboard insulation (1 inch thick) and put a dab of glue on the TARP side. They stayed in place, the tent could breath, the spacers weighed next to nothing. When we took the tarp off, the spacers would pop off easily. (some left a little fingerprint of foam behind) Bagger

I would look into it if something like that were in an area I was interested in going to. I'm not sure were Hummingbird is, but send me your info if your going to do it and I'll put it into consideration for next year's trip planning.

Is this because there is no other lodging options?
Or is this from a cost cutting stand point?

If it were because the riding was stellar and there were no feasable motel/cabin options then I'd try it
