so several people that were up there today say it got pretty warm on Saturday and the snow condensed from 40" down to 37" and now has a thin crust on it.

Gallatin avalanche center posted a video from Lionshead showing a crust with sugar underneath. A big storm is going to bring a lot of avalanches

Snow packs basically as bad as it can be. The bridgers are a little better but not much . To bad we where off to such a good start. If it snows 31 inches in island park it’ll be a hoot just meadow bashing lol!

I’m down one trailer tire from a rexburg to Ashton pothole and one lower a arm so far.

Funny part is we were better prepared for the a arm repair than the tire.
