I am a car audio enthusiast just as I am a snowmobile enthusiast.
I came across a thread in a car audio forum where someone wanted a system that "people would hear, and look at him as he drove"
One of the senior members posted the "DB Drag Racing Creed" which I had never heard of before as I do not compete.
I could not help but think that a "Snowmobile riding creed" would be a good thing to come up with... Most of the DB creed could be used for snowmobilers also.
DB Drag Racing Creed:
I will never operate my system in a manner that will disturb others around me.
I will never operate my equiptment in a manner that could result in injury.
I will never operate my equiptment in violatin of the law.
I will do my best to represent the sport of db drag racing in a positive fashion.
I will conduct myself in a professional manner while competing at events.
I will do my best to support those companies and retailers who support our sport.
I will always abide by the db drag racing rules when competing, and will do my best to insure others abide by the rules as well.
I don't race snowmobiles, so maybe there is already a "snowmobile racing creed", but I couldn't help but think that this could also apply to riding, and could be a good thing to pass on to help insure the longevity of our sport.
Thoughts?
