Sledfilm, earths biggest, best and longest running snowmobile film festival, rips up the screen in Bend, Oregon on November 12th 2011. Polaris Industries has signed on as the title sponsor this year and joins forces with 509 Films, Deviant Sled Works, Frontier Films, Slednecks and a number of other partners and vendors to bring you this evening of sled fueled action. We expect nearly 500 people from across the west to attend, making Bend the epicenter of pre-season sled insanity in early November.
It's not just the filmmakers that are vying for a prize. Attendees have a chance to win thousands of dollars worth of riding gear, trips, helmet cams, services, etc.
Sledfilm 11 will also see the addition of an all-new amateur film category, with submissions of films of five minutes or less being screened by the audience for the new amateur YETI award. The amateur contest is sponsored by Contour - in addition to the YETI the winner will receive a Contour helmet camera. For more information on how to submit your amateur film, please visit the information link at www.sledfilm.com/info.
Tickets are only $5, and can be purchased at the door or online at: http://www.towertheatre.org/tickets-...ts/SLEDFILM_11. This is an all ages show, with 21 and over only in the lower section and all ages seating in the expansive balcony area. Seating is limited and we are planning on a capacity crowd, so be sure to purchase advance tickets if you are traveling to the show.
An event of this size requires a tremendous amount of resources. If you are interested in donating product or other consideration, have a great idea, or would like to help out in some way please contact the organizers at www.sledfilm.com/contact.
We look forward to seeing you in Bend on November 12th!
