I wish I could find the quote, but She has also talked about enjoying the outdoors (including sledding) and wants to make sure our public lands are kept open for all to enjoy. Maybe there is hope for us yet!
last night fox news' greta van sustrin interviews scott davis, todd palin's racin' buddy...and i heard somewhere he is cory davis' (slednecks rider) dad.
it was a long interview and most of the time they were talking about snowmobiling! it was sooooo cool to get that kind of awareness to our sport.

Yeah was watching her speak last night and saw that. While i don't know about the rest of who she is and her experience I can't help but hope and believe she's be great for the sled industry and keeping trails open etc

Scott is Todd's Iron Dog racing partner.
A little background, as told to me by good friend Keith Twombly, who lives just up the road from me, and all around good guy, and we both belong to the same local club.
He is also 'bigsnowman" on this forum, but doesn't post very often.
Not long after the gates opened at Haydays, Keith spots Palin off in the distance walking toward the MNUSA booth. As he passes by Keith yells out "hey Todd"! as though one friend would yell out to another.
Palin stops and Keith introduces himself, about the same time there are four SS guys, with the welding goggle density sunglasses, and talking into their coat sleeves, LOL, immediately step closer.
Keith said he had 5-10 minutes uninterrupted with Todd to talk sledding, and motorsports politics in general. Keith added that Todd seemed very at ease and a super nice guy. Keith wished he and Sarah well and hoped they make it to Washington.
A few days ago, the S.O. and I said if anybody could get a 1-on-1 with Todd Palin, Keith could.
Darned if he didn't dissapoint.

I wonder what type of sled the Secret Service will be using when they're trying to keep up, along side Todd when he races this year!
I doubt there could be a safer place for him to just hang out than at Haydays with a bunch of sledders. He wouldn't really even need the SS boys there.
Maybe we'll see him here at the Snow Show in Puyallup Wa. this year?

Good for Tom, doesn't change that a lot of western areas refer to it as "snowmachine", not snowmobile.
I always get a kick out of that tune when watching my sled vids... is it the original Alticity that has that song on the soundtrack?

Even though I live in Alaska I still think its weird to call it a snowmachine, even though the state decals are labeled snowmachine decals. I just think of snowmachines as what ski resorts us to make snow.

We've seen her with a fully loaded M-16, I doubt she would ever pose with a BB gun. Funny thing is how bad the media bit on that fake calling it a pic in a bikini with a rifle. I suppose a BB gun is just as offensive to those dorks. I bet she is hotter than that fake as well. Saaaluute. EW
