snowies

It is spring riding, so it will be concrete in the morning and a giant slushy by noon.
The good news is, there IS LOTS OF IT.

It's melting fast!!! Half the snow there was last weekend, and rocks and stumps all over. Better head some where else, heard the bighorns were getting snow today, it's been 70 degrees on the mountain for three days!!

was up there saturday.
there is plenty of fun left.
can't blame snowcross for trying though.

here is the pic coldfinger was looking for... Here is a look at Widowmaker last Sunday.

yeah the forest police issued me a ticket for riding my sled over grass through mud to get to the little patches of snow.

Wasn't a lie, went to jump off that cornice that you can see from town on the face above the gap lakes, and the whole bottom, where we parked the week before, is full of 10 foot tall rocks, that we couldn't even see before. Dosen't mean the season is over, hell they won't even plow the road till Mermorial day, but it is melting fast. 10 feet in 4 days seems like alot to me! We will probably still ride into June, but you will have to unload at Lake Marie. Just my 2 cents. If I were going to spend a thousand dollars in gas to come out here from Iowa or Wisconsin, I would wait till next winter.

Yes, that was the spot but this pic must have been after they had another big dump cause there wasn't nearly that much snow in the one I was looking for.
