Albany is a good spot if you don't want to mess around with loading and unloading sleds. ( ride from your room )
Yes it is a run up the mountain for the "good" riding, but if it is snowing and blowing the riding is better down in the trees anyway. On a clear day or if u know the mountain the riding up top is spectacular. My advice would be to stay at Albany and ride out of there for a day or two and then trailer up top for a day of two. That way you can ride the whole mountain. The weather always plays into it - so just go with the conditions. If if is clear ride up top, if visibility is bad stay in the trees.
