Snowies Trip Dec 30th-Jan4th???

We have our trip booked to the snowies for those dates and plan on staying on the west end of Laramie at the Americas Best Value Inn. Do you guys think we will have good ridable snow by the end of the month? Also how far is some of the good riding from where you unload the sleds where the road closes by SML? Thanks alot!

And most usually seem to like the west side, past med bow peak.

Wish I knew the answer also. We'll be out there the same time staying at the Old Corral. Just have to rely on the locals for now to let us know.

Ya im hoping it wont be a total waste of a trip out there. But its still 2 weeks away and a lot can change by then

if it snow between now and the 30th I can give you on the mountian snow report. If it doesn't snow aint going.

I just got back from the Snowy's and it did snow their Wednesday but they need alot more snow on the south end especially. You can go towards chains end parking and find better snow. The T & V trail have decent snow but you need to remember there are rocks with large $$ attached.

Just got back from an ok ride up there. There basically is nothing on top, you'll be skipping off rocks to get anywhere, but if you can get to the backside the snow is much better in the trees. I had fun but we knew where to go to get to some decent snow.
