It's my son's first birthday on the 21st. I'll be back in CO. Hope we get a good system coming over. My oldest wants me to take him out.

We will be in the area. Pulling out tomorrow after work. We are going to start on another Mtn Range, then if that dont look good maybe ride the Snowies sunday.....If so we will come in from Ryan Park. I wonder how the cell service is there?

We rode out of Albany on Saturday. The snow was marginal at best but there were some decent meadows of untouched snow. I posted my pics and GPS tracks at sledswestforum.com:

It wasn't that good at all. Started out of Green Rock and found marginal conditions on a 60 mile ride

I go to WY 50% for the riding 50% for the fun. I have a few buddies still in WY and the only time I get to see them is sledden and hunten season. And when we get together we tend to have a damn fine time

I have never rode outa the Saratoga side but when I lived in Laramie i rode a bunch outa Albony...That was over 10 yrs ago and honestly the only thing I remember about the riding was that the BEER was cold in the the bar there at the Albany Lodge when we came out!!!

We have our reservations and will be riding Friday and Sat of this wk and one in our group knows the area well AS LONG as 80 stays open.....If not we will be riding somewhere else in WY

Yeah, you should have. The Snowies curse lives on. Everytime we go there, sleds break, the weather is horrid or the snow is crappy. This time we snagged 2 outta those 3. Buddy #1 lost the oil pump to his turbo and Buddy #2 lost a driveshaft bearing.
