Snowies Riding Buddies for Jan 12th or 19th

Looking for people who want to ride one of those weekends. If you are from Nebraska, Iowa, etc and want to carpool out that may be possible as well.

We like to unload at Greenrock and go boondocking all day. Nothing too extreme but pack your lunch because there aren't many places to eat where we like to ride.

We will be heading out the Wednesday the 16th. Might be just 2 of us. We boondock and and don't mind geting lost or stuck looking for new places to play.. We ride 151 summits. Haven't booked a room yet..

I and three friends will be staying at snowy mtn lodge 1-17-20 I think the pioneer cabin Stop by and tag along or show us some of the area. We have never been to the snowies but are checking it out on the way to tog.

My friends and I will be riding up there this weekend. We will be up 11th (late) and ride 12&13th. There are 3 of us that love anything but trail riding. We will be going out of GreenRock if we can camp. (I have a toy hauler) I have heard rumors no over-night parking at GreenRock...I am going to call the Forest Service tomorrow. We are pretty familar with the area.

Looks like most people are shooting the the weekend of the 19th. We are not sure yet but will post here when plans firm up.

The latest forecast for 11,500' is saying 12-24" of snow by Thursday! It could be a great weekend if that happens.
