Going out to the snowies soon just wondering how the snow has been, watching the weather it looks like quite a bit of snow in the last two weeks.

This is the third thread on the front page about snow condition in the snowies

WHY???????? :face-icon-small-ton

For the same reason people go to the window to look outside during a storm. They keep hoping the reports will change and get better.

Snowies got some snow last weekend and are getting some more today. Should be good.......until the wind blows it back to hard lol. Last Friday was total crap up there snow wise.

Lots of snow on the back the last couple of days, bumper to w/shield. Also windy on the east, still blowing the road clean in spots. Looking out the window right now I can see about 100 yards and the snow going by the cabin is probably landing somewhere in western NE.

Dansyl has that right. The wind was so strong in town today that the city crews were out replacing stop signs that were getting blown down! 45 mph constant, 70 mph gusts. The wind has got to stop sooner or later, just hopin it's real soon, and if the wind would let up, I would hope the snow would start flying hard and heavy!! I guess I got way more spoiled last year than I thought...:(

Dan, the snow appears to have gone a little further than western NE. I was just 20 miles west of Lincoln (475 miles from Laramie) and there was a dusting of snow on my dad's driveway. I wondered where it came from. LOL

I thought those liittle white flakes had some momentum built up when they went by here! Weather today --sunny here, top of the mountain in clouds and another high wind warning 'till midnight. Redhead and I are headed up a little later this morn, probably run around back to see just how deep it is. Reports sound good. Hope to see many of you folks at the Avy class tonight. Later, Dan

Just back down, all that nice snow we were riding in on Tuesday has set up from the winds we had yesterday. You can still get stuck, but you're going to have to work at it!
