SnowHawk Mania Disaster(Stay clear of Snow Hawks)

To all snowmobilers:

On February 16th 2008 a rider on a snow hawk went on a rampage through the Mt. Baker sno-park. He made his way through the parking lot throwing rock and mud on a mans sled. It didn't end there he proceded to throw rock and mud allover "Mr. Prez's" new Triton trailer. ( so you all know Mr.Prez get alot of funding for our area for parking lot clearing so there is a place to park, canopy trimming and parking lot enlargement. he does this all for the riders who come to the mountain every year.) This is the thanks we show him? Ok maybe it was an accident... Well i would expect the mystery man on the snow hawk to come and apologize for what he did. Well he didn't.

After the ride evidence started to appear on the sno west forum " Baker Snow Hawk Mania".

From Pumpkin Patch:

Had a great time up there in the sun while it lasted but was pi$$ed down at the snowpark when one of the jacka$$'s on a Snowhawk sprayed mud on me and my sled. I couldn't tell if it was intentional or not but still was not happy. The Snowhawk guys already don't have a great rep. and this does not help them at all with that.

The same guy went over to a new Triton trailer and was spraying mud on that also plus another sled............what a jerk.

So you can see that forum for more details. Read and see how the snow hawk guys really show how big of a$$ holes they are....

there's no question that the addick is a jagoff....but it's not just snowhawk riders that sprayed stuff....I saw some fancy polaris dude with a flag on his helmet lay waist to a silver pt cruiser...it takes all kinds. the thing that really makes this feel bad is the effort the prez put forth to give us a great spot to camp and park...then his stuff get's screwed up. Everyone needs to be responsible for their actions, to label all hawk riders as bad because of one that has no class is just putting yourself into the same classless camp as the one jerkoff.

Point taken... They are putting themselves in the group by not owning up to it yamma dog i know you would have been man enough to say something.. i am calling them all out so maybe somebody will come out and apologize to Mr prez... is that to much to ask... NO!

That was my PT Cruiser too!

I drive the silver PT cruiser with the motorcycle trailer and a single snowhawk on it (and set of chains, I get to revelstoke w/this:beer;). I am 100% certain if you see a Silver PT with a snowhawk behind it it is me, Dan Cox. I guess my PT is so trashed I didn't notice it! Seriously, it seems the anger has kinda gotten out of control... I hope when I bring my wife and kids up they don't see a brawl. I do know thoughtless peolpe can piss you off (I am an Angry White Man!).

I just visited my dad, his 2nd week out of open heart surgery to relplace a defective heart valve. Last week, Seeing him very grey, unconcious, with tubes in is throat - made me feel very mortal.

Compassion: sympathetic consciousness of others' distress together with a desire to alleviate it.

Let's watch out for each other or the terrorists win!:D

I'll wait for the "You're gay" comments from the youngsters

Decent mileage 24 or so

I am new to this computer thing but I have never seen anyone pull a sled with PT Cruiser. How is you gas mileage?

It's the bare bones model with a manual trans. little 2.4L 4 banger. I think most peolpe must think I'm crazy/stupid (I guess I might have to add A-hole- after reading some posts on here - talk about strange; personality = sled manufacturer?) when I pull into the snowparks. Been to Pemberton 3 times with it! The motor is over the front of the wheels, seems to go anywhere with chains. The trailer probably around 300Lbs Max + a 400LB snow hawk and gas and tools. :D

Cool, some positive feedback! There is hope after all:beer;:D:beer;

I'm not a youngster...but I'll throw out the "you're gay" with that car and pulling a sled(hawk).....j/k.....:D:beer;

I was thinking of one for driving around for work and my co worker said.."No...don't do it,,,, those are ******* cars"....LMAO....so I'm staying with my truck so nobody get's me mixed up with the fruity crowd...:eek:

Seattlesnowhawker brings up a great point. We are only here for a short time and we should do what we can to enjoy our time and the people we get to spend time with....no need for bad feelings and bad karma by not owning up to the things you should own.

Finally a REAL angry white man! Can't pepper the Prez's gear and get away with it. Not too mention I will be sleeping in that trailer the night of the shootout, no gravel in side!

Soooooooooooooo did everyone who saw this guy (if someone did) just sit there and watch? I would think someone would have the balls to take care of this guy right at that moment. I know I wasn't there and don't know the story but sounds pretty straight forward, guy needs an *** kickin.

I would be pissed if that happened to me but I saying all snowhawk riders are jerks is taking a bit far. I have talked to a couple and they were nice guys and I know there are some jerks on them just like on sleds. we all want to go play in the snow can't we just get along and just knock the hell out of the guys who do that crap

The PT really is a piece of chit..

I've replaced the rack and pinion and powersteering pump at 65,000 miles, it rattles inside (maybe because I take it offroad?!?) and yeah, I'd never buy one again. It was my first new car, thought it be better than a ford fucus or similiar small econ-box for my long commute I had then.

No, You're GAY! :D:D:D
