SnoWest's 2011 project sled - Project Mid-Life Crisis (Update- MTN TAMER install)

Sled looks really cool, you need something a bit edgy to show off at any type of trade show.....you guys sure made it "Pop"

looks like an updated XLT hood...

Hated it when I seen the powder coated parts, like it now, would love it if you powder coated the rear suspension and rails!

You're right, that does have some '95 XLT flavor.

The rear suspension colors are all coming for the next round of installs..

Who is funding this project? What is it called this year?

I thought this sled would be hidous but it is growing on me (although I likely will not "gape" out my new Pro).

QUESTIONS:....did snowest provide Session's matching install sneakers or can I get those directly from Boondockers? If I remember correctly he was riding in those prototypes last year at West Mountain!:face-icon-small-hap

Oh... the shoes. He was taking all sorts of crap for those at SLC. I think he bought them in plain white and took them apart and had them powder coated to match his M8.

They're cool shoes. I tried buying a pair for running earlier this year, but Reebok doesn't make them in 15. Straight up discrimination.

Well I guess you can really hammer out the heel clickers easier with those "sneaks". I'm requesting HMK put those in the line next season. Not much on traction, warmth, dryness, or support but super DUPER agile! (not to mention the bling factor and how they POP on film)

Session's Signature Series Sneaks...hey that really flows!

I'm not joking...he was riding in those things and without socks..it was 70* and sunny but dang and I take crap for wearing flip flops everywhere

Whats up with the stale generic blue black K word outfit? That ain't how he rolls! Did he loose his gear bag that day? Now many of you don't get out as much as me but in Canada this past weekend I saw a Castle outfit that matches those things perfectly. Mountainhorse..do your internet magic and pull it up please. You know when you see it!:D If I was a wealthier man I would have bought it for him as a xmas gift.

Rocky, Wyatt, Jared and a few guys at Boondocker took the sled to Wyoming for some early riding October 30-31. The turbo is the same as it was installed during the Intermountain Snowmobile Show the weekend before.

What happens to these sleds after the build and the final article? Maybe a good and honest contest could be done? Maybe an essay or how/who is doing what for the passion of the sport. For example, education, time/letters written to organaizations to help keep lands open, avalanche awareness and so on. No sled vid riders, just regular joes who have no sponsors and have to buy and maintain their own equipment. Just a thought.

I've readng about the SW builds for years now and then that is the last we see of the sleds.

Burton-AG makes a matching jacket....

SWEET Match!!! Add some pants.

What do you think Ryan?

They have em in tall/long sizes as well!:face-icon-small-hap
