i was thinkin the samething!
i think it is more of a riding style than a region. it is anyone who loves tearing up fresh pow, gets off the trail as soon as possible and thinks most the people on hardcoresledder are hosers! JK about the HCS thing. for some that boondock in the UP of MI they are just as much SnoWesterners as anyone that rides in the Rockies, they just don't have the huge peaks and 10,000 ft elevations.
