Ten hours for me.I try to stay longer now when I go now to make trip worth while I also leave sleds out in wy now so dont have to pull trailer any more. Also have property there now that we rent to people. One of them is www.tensleepmotel.com

Usually about 1 hour... closer to 45 minutes if the roads are bare right to the snow park.

I'm in the same situation as EagleRiverDee, I live on a mountain but it's not legal to ride near where I live because it's all surrounded by Municipal and State Park land. I drive 2 to 2-1/2 hours to get to my riding areas. Plenty of open areas all around my house to ride, but the tree hugging "citiots" (city+idiot) deemed the land closed to motorized vehicles.

if the black hills would get decent snow I could ride in 5 hours. And that sounds soooo short to me. 9 to the horns. 12ish to the ears. 14 to mesa. I really envy you mountain dwellers.

Not Lucky, Made Choices

Nearest trailhead to sick riding is 2 miles. I usually go about 4 or 5 miles to Kebler Pass trailhead though. Truck never breaks 45mph:face-icon-small-ton and usually doesn't start kicking heat out the vents till I'm parking.
Last season I drove a whopping 32 miles to the trailhead. Now I walk to work and can see where I'm about to ride from my bedroom window.
BUT! I grew up in the twin cities of MN. Got really bored, and made the plunge. No luck here, just did it.

Last year in Tahoe....however long it took me to open the garage door and ride half a block. (:30 seconds).

This year...about an hour and a half to a decent snow park. Tacoma/Seattle area up to the Cascades.

Bit of a bummer with a drive now....but i'm still riding 2+ times week in some awesome terrain so i'm still happy! :face-icon-small-hap

I live in Valdez, Alaska we are at sea level surrounded by 6-7000 foot mountains. 0 driving unless you want to. I can get from my garage about 50' to 6500' in about 10-15 minutes depending on the conditions of the day. I have driven 3000+ miles to the lower 48 states to ride with friends and everywhere in between. Didn't take the poll because there wasn't an honest answer to choose from.

Depends on where we go. Albany is 9 hour drive, Big Horns, Mesa, Togwotee is around 12-14 hours, Island Park 2 day drive, Ears/Steamboat is around 10 hours

Anywhere from 11 1/2 to 25 depending upon where we go. Someday when money isn't an issue I would like to venture farther Northwest to the big BC :face-icon-small-coo
