What is your take on the article?

For me it seems like everyone says ... less weight more performance , and there is no replacement for displacement.

What more did I want to see ??? Cost maintenance reliability.

My conclusion ... buy what you like and gaining rider experience is the best feature to any sled.

I started this thread in hopes others would chime in with positive remarks about the article.

Thank you for those who did.

Anybody else see what other good things came out of the article?

If you have a Cat think it over carefully before running the track backwards!!

Have believed in the concept of less weight and good power to weight ratio and less rotating mass since 1966 when I put a 301 chevy V-8 in a austin healy roadster with an aluminum flywheel, principals worked then and still works with anything with an engine and some way of moving itself!!!

My mod XP TNT has a full wet weight of only 450 lbs

Good Luck

Call one sled the winner in that one category, the lighest sled with the biggest track made it to the top, everyone should expect that. Sure it would be nice to have my choice of sled be the winner. With that in mind, I didn't buy my sled for one thing. I rode different sleds and bought the one that I thought would be the best overall sled for me.

Call it biased if you want, I have owned 5 new Poos since '99 and never an issue. That was one feature that kept me on a Poo. The second, and most important to me was how it felt on the snow, I love the flickability.

I think that the Doo is an awesome sled, I just didn't trust the reliability issues whether they are real or not, that's my perspective. I didn't like how it handled, so that is how I made my decision for the best sled for me in most of the conditions that I ride in.

What kills me is how some on here need to boast that "my stuff is better than yours" I ride with all makes and the most important part is that we all have a good, trouble free, and safe time. Lately, the safe part has been hard to keep going, between Tudizzle and I.
