I have seen a lot of threads on here about people’s passion for riding and how many travel long distances. There are so many people like me that live hours and hundreds of miles away from the mountains that take 3 or 2 or even ONE trip a year just to ride out there. For the past 5 or so years, I’ve been wondering why there is not an organized annual event for sledder’s somewhere out west? I’m thinking along the lines of the Harley Davison Sturges event. All the manufactures and vendors could have booths there. It could have entertainment and be very close to a good riding area. Similar to maybe a winter carnival I remember going to as a kid. I think this would make for a great vacation trip for many only going out west a few times a year.
I don’t know what area could be used for this or how many people would be expected, but it would one of my planned trips every year. It would also be a good opportunity for all Snowester’s to get together each year at one event. I think the manufactures and vendors would benefit by reaching more people that otherwise can’t get to their regular shows and events. I remember Arctic Cat having an Arctic Blast one year, but have not heard anything since.
