snowboard rack?

looking for best way to mount a snowboard on sled searched everywhere but didnt find ne thing good im willing to build one or buy one if i like it pics would b great

Not the best pics but made it for about 60 bucks in steel and ratchet straps as well as about 2 hours of my time. I made it for skis but the general idea is there. Make posts and frame, put in snowboard, ratchet it down, ride and have fun. I would put this rack up against any of the Cheetah Racks or whatever for ease of use and strength.

Buy a pack or vest that lets you strap it to your back...
Yeah we have all been that route, but I will never go back to skis on my back for a few reasons.

First, you thrash your pack, and they cost money. I went through two dakines in one season, and a black diamond in another.... usually I get three plus years on a pack

Second, I straight up almost ended my season when I skis hooked a branch when I doubled a set of bumps on the way to ski...

Thirdly You can move way better with skis on the tunnel... and moving better means faster access to better terrain.

My vote if you have the money is the CFR racks, they have a bunch of different models, but they are pretty proud of their stuff. You could also check out the X-Rack. I forget their website, but I know the product is cheaper than CFR.

The CFR rack is worth every penny. It also allows you to carry 2 pairs of skis or 2 snowboards and fits a 5 gal gas can as well. The straps never freeze and if you ever break anything (you probably wont) Dave backs his product really well. Buy one, you wont regret it.

CFR x2

I've been hauling skis, boards, snoshoes since 97. Had my own homemade stuff then bought a CFR in 2003: kind of spendy but definitly nice.:)

thanks for the input guys i think ill engineer my own the knight rider ones look sweet but for 300 buck theyr a little much and ill never put ne on my back trees to tight where i ride
