Hey guys, I am heading to Colorado from CA to find some new spots and ride my sled a bunch. Anyone want to link up the 1st week of January to ride? I am working on a snowboard movie this year with Transworld Snowboarding magazine, the same company as Transworld motocross. Hey joe as far as spots go i cant help, but if you head over to sledmods.com-also another colorado based snowmobile site-there are many more sledder/boarders over there i have ridden with a few of them cool guys and i think you will have better luck over there!
What part of CO are you headed to? We do sled/snowboard filming/photography and know lots of good spots ... maybe our crew can show you to some prime footage locations .... if the price is right!!

I think heading to base out of the Breckenridge/vail area. Maybe head to the Wolf Creek or Red Mountain Area? What do you think is best?

I would hit up Wolf Creek, better snow and you won't run into a gaper issue down there. I would make an inquiry to Davy Pitcher at Wolf Creek Ski Area, as he has heli service permit there as well. His oldest son is a pro rider for Nitro and last I spoke with him he was going to be in pagosa till the middle of Jan. Also could try San Juan Snowcats out of creede, they can give you some snowcat tours in areas that have never been filmed. Sick terrain, most snow in colorado...
