SNOWBIKE TRANSPORT COVERS

OKAY SO NOT EVERYONE HAS A FANCY INCLOSED TRAILER TO HAUL THERE TOYS IN ,SO WHAT KIND OF COVERS ARE BEING USED CUSTOME MADE OR MODDED SNOWMOBILE COVERS TO KEEP ROAD SAND AND SALTS OFF THERE BIKES LETS HERE IT ANY HELP APPRECIATED .

My upholsterer is actually taking measurements of my bike this week to try to make a cover that fits tight over the bars and also has strap holes to thread the tie-downs through. We are thinking some type of fastener on the bottom to keep the road grime from coming up from below.

If we make it I'll let you know how it looks. Most trailers around here are NOT enclosed.... you aren't alone!

Working on a prototype for next week. It will have easy fasteners on the bottom of the bike and will cover the Horse and the entire bike (except for maybe the forks and ski spindle). I'll have some pictures here soon.

We are trying to keep the price around $200. Expect updates!

I'm afraid the cover project is on hold until after the 1st of the year. I went riding last weekend and found out today that my spindle is bent and will have to be replaced (along with some other parts possibly). I'd rather have a dirty bike and ride then have a covered bike in the shop.

First real ride with any snow and I already broke something. What a pain!

My upholsterer really dropped the ball on me last year. I'm trying to find someone new that would like to take up the cover project.

Either that or I'm going to buy an enclosed trailer.

I have a place here that is going to prototype a cover for me. We will try to come up with what will work and if they are unable to manufacture them for us we will find someone to make them. We have a couple of sowing job shops that we work with on other stuff that could manufacture them. I am sure we can make them universal to the Mtn. Horse. Make it so it covers everything including the ski and over the back of the tunnel. I will keep you all posted when it comes about. Lots of room with this new snow biking sport for companies to make aftermarket stuff for them.<O:p</O:p
