snowbike top speed?

depends on gearing. a non w 300 is going to be either geared tall for speed or slow for tech. where do you live? Theres other kits to consider beside mototrax and TS. On my Husky 501 I can hit ~70 on the trail on my Snowtech

70? Holy crap. I hit about 35 on my 02 wr450 timbersled short track, geared down one tooth on top

Read somewhere that they were gearing I believe an Yeti kit for a top speed of 60mph.

My bike is box stock and doesn't have much poop, bet I'm lucky if I've been over 45 or 50mph at 10,000 feet +.

52 is best I ever got on groomed trail with my FC 450 and timbersled st

I've been clocked doing around 61 on a 450sx running an LT. But you don't want to stay there long.... bike is pinned and that 4 stroke is barking!

2011 Husaberg 570 big bored to 660 with a 14 tooth front sprocket and 40/44 gearing on a YETI 129, across flat farmers fields going 75mph-77mph steady, pulling away from my sledder buddies, who did not like riding that fast in the dark....lol..

I don't care how fast it goes up the trail. I am usually in the trees riding fresh snow all the way to the alpine.

If i run into a trail i pick my bike up and carry it over my head doing shoulder presses until i get to the powder.:)

49 on a CR500 16 ST geared up from a 17T to a 16T in the bottom chaincase.

49.8 on my 08 CRF450, same kit and gearing (and same GPS that was "clocking" me)

Where did you order the extra gear? I have a '12 500xcw, '16TS and I can only seem to get low 40s (mph) out of it. I even threw a 13t on the bike and theres was no noticeable difference. I know there is quite a natural gear reduction going from wheels to a track, but I've seen 90+mph with the wheels. Cutting the top speed in half seems like a lot.

From Timbersled. You will have to work through your dealer to get one, but for the 16's and up different gears are pretty cheap, like $17 or something like that.
Stock the kits are typically 17/17 in the chain case - and 17 on the main drive shaft for that matter. But you can get gears anywhere from 15 to 20 if I remember right.

The chain case is similar to your main drive. A larger gear on top and smaller on bottom combo will speed it up.
