Snowbike participation in the irondog race

Hi guys , any one know if there is some snowbike team planning onto participating in the irondog race ?

That would a major step forward for the snowbike development

I find it hard to imagine a worse fate than 2000 miles of trashed trail on a snowbike.

I've seen videos of sleds crossing 1/2 mile of open ocean water in that race.

It is very brutal but I think it is just a matter of time before we see some snowbike in that race

They will need to carry a wheel for the front.
Average is 15-20 miles of dirt at the farewell burn.

Alternatively ice on ponds then dirt between.

Just to be the first snowbike to participate at this and finish would be an awesome achievement

I think a 690 / 701 with extra fuel tank like those rallyraid would be a nice bike to start with

We are currently working on it. One of the main issues is hauling all of the required and mandatory safety gear that has to be on the rider and attached to the machine.
