Snowbike insurance

I am in Michigan and running into problems attempting to secure insurance on my snowbike. Looking for insite on what companies to try. I have tried liberty mutual, foremost, Allstate and progressive. All advised unfamiliar with snowbike and would not cover.

Anyone in the Midwest with coverage? Thanks

Insurance

I'm in the Northwest, but the only insurance coverage I could find to cover my bike as a Timbersled Mountain Horse was State Farm. They had the coverage on my snowmobiles and they basically insured the Mountain Horse the same as a snowmobile in the winter. It is also covered as a dirt bike in the summer under the same policy. I had to send them some pictures and answer some questions for the underwriters, but it was pretty smooth sailing to get the coverage.

Also state farm. Registered and insured as a snowmobile.

I have gieco and I believe when I asked them about it, didn't actually get it. They said it would be under aftermarket accessories. Not sure though as I never when through with it.

I used HUB International, and insured the bike normally and the timbersled kit as an accessory.

I have USAA and they use Progressive to do underwriting on items like motorcycles and other off-road machines. Progressive wouldn't underwrite the policy so I called Geico.... same problem. I just called my buddy at Hub International and we will see what they say.
