snow

Check the keystone cams.
Snow on the ground at all snowies cam sites.
Supposed to warm back up, but anything that cools the ground now, is a good thing.

NICE

We were up there last weekend for the Texas - Wyo game. We stayed up at the cabin (9500') and it was 27 degrees when we got up Saturday morning to head to Laramie. It might have gotten even colder last night.

First day of fall is tomorrow - right on schedule? :)

Yeah it was lovely big flakes about 6 this morning in Laramie. But already quit.....:( Snotel's up top aren't reading anything either, but oh well.

I JUST got back from a backpacking/fishing trip in the Snowies. He hiked in to Reservoir Lake (back side of Widow Maker) ahead of the storm on Sunday and woke up to a winter wonderland Monday morning. About 3" at 6:30 and close to 5" when we got to the jeep at 9am (and still snowing). By the time we got back to HWY 130 the snowfall was much less... maybe 2".

Hopefully soon we'll be talking feet and not inches!

Hope to post some pics later.

I talked with several people that said they had any where from 10" to 14" on casper mountain.. Its all gone of course.. But we got another snow storm coming in next wednesday. Getting so much closer...
