Snow Totals?

Just curious about snowfall totals for this storm system -- especially west slope areas like Red Mtn, Lizard Head, Grand Mesa, Crested Butte, or wherever. Time to pick some spots for this week. Forecast looks good for even more!! Thanks.

Thanks! I use that site frequently but find that the snotel sites either aren't working or are pretty innacurate for the areas I ride. Near as I can guess, most mountain areas have seen a foot or so in the past 24 hours.

Looks like this storm was more hype than action. I'm pretty sure here in southern Colorado, the wind blew all of the potential away.

After shoveling the decks here in Frisco it seemed like 2 feet. Was really around a foot or13 inches since yesterday.

Powdepatrol and I were up on the Mesa on Saturday and found about 18 inches of snow in open areas with up to 3 feet of good snow in some north facing meadows. This storm looks to have laid down about 2 inches of moiture. The area around the snotel probably got around 2 feet, however some more sheltered north facing slops and meadows probably recieved double that. This is pretty typical with the Park reservoir Snotel and is what I have observed over the years. If you know where to look, there will be some good snow to be had on the Mesa over the next few days. You know what I mean Ryan.:face-icon-small-win
