Snow show support group for those that can't make it this year.

We need a support group for those of us that can't make it to the show for one reason or another and are feeling left out:(

Who will buy my DVD's and all of my goodies for me??

On a serious note, a few snow show regulars that I ride with including myself will be in the woods hunting this year. Who has an address for WSSA, SAWS etc, so we can send in our donations that we usually give at the show? Thanks E.

Eric, I am in your friendly neighbor city of Maple Valley. Let me know what you need, I will be more than happy to pick it up for you and deliver it after the show. That is the least I can do since I stood you up for a game of golf last year....

Shoulder and ankle surgery this summer, I have a few leftovers. Good advice, I'm on it!

Why is the Puyallup show always during deer season? Didn't used to care so much as I bow hunt, but now my son is rifle hunting so I have an obligation to take him out in the field. Kinda missed going last year and will again this year. Wanted to get my autographed copy of the Sled girls calendar if it makes print before the show. Have fun for those who go. Thought about selling my MM700 there this year along with some other misc items. Guess I'll have to use the forum swap meet.

Just curious, but why cant you hunt the following weekend? Why the big need to hunt opening day? Seems like the true hunters can fill their tag regardless of when or where they hunt.

I'm glad you asked Brent. It has nothing to do with filling my tag, it's all about hunting. I go for all 9 days and if I get lucky and get one on opening day I still hunt bears and cougars just to be a part of the group and help my group.

Don't get me wrong, I want to fill my tag and the first 4 or 5 days of the season are the best chance before the deer get spooked and scattered and are running all of the time. It's all about opening weekend!!

This year is exception, opening day is a week later than it's been for about the last 10 years and that is great for hunters, snow is good. Unfortunately, opening day happens to be the same day as the show for the first time in about 10 years.

It's just a passion and either you have it or you don't and it's way better than snowmobile **** if you have the passion to hunt. It fills the gap between summer and winter. We are out deep in the wilderness dreaming about snow and chasing around the wild life, it's cold, fall colors, hard work and just awesome.

Your missing out.. E
