Snow Show Questions

Hey All,

I would love to make both the Boise and Puyallup snow show, but I think I'm going to have to pick just one. I was wondering what one is better? I'm looking at buying some new gear and just checking out the show. Does anyone have an opinion, or some advice???

*** Note: I went riding on my quad over labor day weekend in the mountains and It snowed on us! So yesterday I pulled my sled out!!! I'm ready to go!!!

I haven't been to the Boise show so I really can't compare one to the other...but I do know that the Puyallup show is well worth the trip! We go almost every year....it's huge! I think you would not be disappointed if you made plans to hit Puyallup this year!

sunbather1969: I don't know what I want. I think I might join the cool kids and go with Klim gear. I'm 6'2" and they are the only ones I have found that have true Tall sizes! LOL As far as Colors I'm a Blue Girl!!! I don't want nasty 5 year old gear, YUCK!

klim

never found good deals on klim new at show.they hold theyre price .the only way i found to get a good deal on klim is know someone (cost)is much cheaper than they sell them for but everyone will pay the big bucks for it so why drop price.fashion you know

Braaapgirl, hope you make it to Puyallup!! Maybe we'll see ya there Even if you don't end up buying your gear at the show, it's a great place to really put your hands on the products and get a feel for what exactly you are looking for...

Puyallup hands down...the Boise show is improving, but is still only 1/10 of what Puyallup is.

As for deals...they are there to be found, but it takes some effort (and CASH)...hope you make it over.

Puyallup, huge showroom, hundreds of sellers?

It's not even a comparison !!

The Puyallup show is the largest show this side of Minnesota, Way bigger than the Boise show. You wont find better deals anywhere in the western hemisphere on gear, sleds, trailers, parts ect ect.. There is current and non current gear there. You just have to put on your shopping hat and know how to wheel and deal. Cash talks so to speak. I've been to alot of shows and this is definately the best. I've talked to snowest in depth and they are trying to get there show in the same league as puyallup. Having a real hard time doing it.

Thanks So much everyone! I saw that Snowest Magazine had published the Boise snow show and not Puyallups. I have been to the snow show in Spokane twice and I heard Puyallup is 4 times that size. Any truth to that?

I haven't been to Boise yet, but I have been to Spokane and go every year to Puyallup and it's hands down for Puyallup.

Just like Modsledr says, there's deals but got to have the cash.

For being a tall one also, I have found that Klim is the way to go. Once someone mades a inseam of a 36" for pants I'll be on that.

Noticed that your from Tri-Cities too, where you ride at mostly?

I think its our 5th year showing in Puyallup, I would say its at least 4 times bigger than the spokane show or any other on the west coast.. and that does not include the swap.. the swap is epic..theres a reason snowest is pumping their own show..they own it...The Puyallup show is put on by the WSSA
as far as Klim gear goes Cascade Playtime always has great deals on Klim , HMK and several others..
