Snow pulse shoulder straps

Im getting a avy bag this year and i like the snowpulse, but im worried that the size of the shoulder straps will restrict movement or be uncomfortable. I like some feed back from some of the riders that have used this bag, is this a issue.
Also any opinion on avy bags in general would be welcome
Thanks

Size of the shoulder straps is one of the main things that get people's attention when they try on the SnowPulse for the first time. It actually doesn't interfere much at all. The ABS straps are smaller of course, but that's because the airbag isn't stuffed in the collar and straps. I would take Mule's word for the SnowPulse, he has a Highmark. The highmark was designed specifically for snowmobilers, so it fits us sledders just great.

Straps

I did not have issues with restrictive movement but I hated the Mickey Mouse Latching mechanism on the bottom straps. If this has not been modified or changed out totally I would suggest you ask your retailer to deal with it before you purchase. The mechanism gets snow in it and jams up and will be difficult to engauge or disengauge depending on what you are trying to do. There must be a better system and if anyone has found it I would like to know so I can change mine. This is my only complaint and fortunately I've never had to open the system.

My buddy has the same complaint. Its a real PITA for him.

They have a different buckle system that works just fine. I ran mine for the last half of last winter without issue, broke 2 of those pretty red ones though in the first half.

I don't even notice the larger straps on my Snow Pulse, I find it very comfy with zero restriction.

I don't have any problem with the shoulder straps on mine at all....but I do wear it over a Tekvest. Only issue I have is I find the release handle is too high on my shoulder to easily reach. I have limited mobility from a neck injury though. I like the ability to relocate the release handle on my sons ABS pack, but I like the trauma protection on mine. Overall I like the pack. I actually haven't had much of a problem with the buckle. Just have to knock the snow out of it once in a while. They have an update for the buckle though.

Same as above. I was worried about the bulk of the straps, especially with the lack of a neck i have haha. Its been just fine, dont even notice them away from the truck. Theres been an update on the waist buckle, but i've never had an issue with it. You leave the buckle in the snow and it will get ice in it, tap it out and carry on. Im going to set mine off i think before winter just to double check stuff.
