Just a heads up from a neighbor who has the contract to plow the snow parks around Fish Lake. He said the worst thing for his equipment is a fire pit or half-burnt firewood that is soft enough to get through the rollers but then get caught in the fan, damaging the blower. He is replacing it this off-season for $1200.
I told him it probably isn't the sleders, but just some kids going to the end of the road and drinking some beer around the fire, but I thought I’d post it cause i'd never think that some half burnt wood would cause a problem (in the winter).
