SNOW LEVEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5,500 TO 6,500

I did some scouting for hunting season last week of august and found large areas still covered in 3-6' of snow ( in the tree's of course ) at the 4,000 range. We are talking acres of snow not just drifts. I was temped to haul the sled up there but it would be a few miles of stump jumping to get to it.

With that much snow down low should help pull down the temps.

Hey guys,
The news today said there could be a light dusting of snow at high elevations in the cascades Sat. night. It's a start.

I pulled my sled apart, that always brings snow

Well, I washed and waxed my truck today (first time this year) so I'm sure it will bring some rain down low (and snow up high) plus I don't have shocks or a secondary on my sled either.

Watched a guy take an old edge chassis threw ... or should I say over a mub bog a few years back. It was more like water skipping that required alot of cleaning.

He did log the fastest time of the day.

Did Someone Say Snow?

Came over the top of Chinook Pass last night on my way home from a unsuccessful bowhunting weekend. 48' and raining hard but no white stuff. The new wooden passenger bridge at the top looks great!
