donbrown Well-known member Lifetime Membership Oct 10, 2012 #7 Compared to years past this storm is about 3-5 weeks AHEAD of the historical cycle. If this storm happened in January-February it would be dumping many feet at 7000 feet. At least this storm is "priming the pump" a month ahead of schedule. Not trying to jinx things but it sure would be nice to have those January dumpings happen in December and the February dumpings happen in January !
