snow conditions!?

6 of us are heading west this afternoon from iowa. No destination set yet because heard cooke isn't desireable yet...any where else got GOOD snow depth yet???

There is not much snow in Vail CO. Those pics were from Vale BC.

4 of us are heading out to the Snowies.. staying in Centennial. Hoping to make it to the backside of the mountain. I've heard Madres are good or big horns.

Rode the Snowies yesterday (11/24). The snow is iffy at best. I would NOT get off the trails unless you have a stalk pile of A-arms.

No... I rode out of Albany. Also beware, there are A LOT of blown down tree's on the trails. My group had to lift sleds over at least a dozen trees and had to cut one in half so that we could get over it.

The Trails Program is going to have their work cut out for them this year. The blow down is pretty bad.
