Snow conditions Black canyon

Looking at riding the black canyon loop in island park on saturday has anybody been there lately that can tell me the snow condition.

Last Saturday it was GREAT.
Very solid base with about 6 inches of fresh on top.
Some sheltered places had about a foot of fresh.

Get off the loop at the top of the mountain and head out into the burned out areas and you will run out of gas before you run out of places to ride!

Hope to take my little girl out on her first ride this weekend.
Will probably stay down low and flat where a 9 year old won't be intimidated.
But who knows...
