I have had 3 Yamahas & 1 Cat in my total 11 years of riding. I currently own/ride a 2005 King Cat(bought new). Prior to that, I had a V-max 4(used),,, SRX 700(used),,, & the first year RX-1 mountain (03' Bought new).
I switched to cat to save weight. However, mostly what I got/acquired was/is maintenance issues!!! I'm not into bashing or name calling...just the facts. No joke...I have had more time & $$$ in my one new Arctic Cat than all 3 of my Yamahas combined...and 2 of the Yamahas were purchased used!!! That reveals a lot. Thumb & grip heaters...track rubbing on tunnnel, coil screws vibrated out after 300 miles & yanked wires out raw,,, power valves rubbing on pipe & subsequently rusting over summer-the list goes on!!!
So,,,trying to work a deal w/ my Yamaha dealer here. I paid $8,500 for my 2003 RX-1 mountain in 2002. Now ,10 years later, what should I pay for a snow check w/ $300 down???
Thanks fellas!!
