Snow Bikes at Winter XGames!!

It has been announced that snow bike racing has been added to the Winter XGames. This is huge for the snow bike industry and very exciting! I wonder how they are going to decide who to invite?

My guess is Ronnie Renner has a good idea of who to invite. I'm guessing he had a hand in bringing it together. It will be interesting to see if all snowbike manufactures get in with a rider or just one brand... This is super cool to see! I had to check their press release by ESPN to make sure it was true!

My thoughts exactly. It would be nice to see all the brands have a chance to get represented and receive some well deserved main stream exposure.

This is great news! for us that have been involved in single ski riding from the snowhawk and into the bike days we always knew the sport would catch on. We compared it to the time when the snowboarders where looked down on as a fad and not allowed on the mountain.

Lets not forget about 2Moto and Explorer. Although they left something to be desired they still were a blast to ride in the right conditions and provided the push the industry needed. In fact, in a racing format, a 2Moto can still be competitive with whats out there today as long as you give it a good ski and spindle. Light, nimble, and efficient.

Brock Hoyer, Reagan Sieg, Jimmy Jarrett, Ronnie Renner are the first that come to mind. Not sure where they'll find the rest.

I would assume the ISOC tour would be a great looking glass for Xgames competitors. Those that are doing well will likely get asked to come to Xgames.

Why have Jackson strong ? An aus that never rides snow or axle that doesn't make sense at all

Because those two are regular Xgames invites now... Hopefully that list starts to grow some more. I'd like to see some more guys that ride snowbikes a lot like Reagan and Brock. Maybe some more manufacturers, looks like Yeti and TS now. Wonder what Axell and Jackson are going to ride?

Reagan and Brock are already invited and will be at x games.

I saw that some x games qualifiers will be at erx in Elk River Minnesota on Saturday December 17. And first round of the AMA national snowbike racing series on the 18th.
