These things are easier to ride than sleds. Just got back from revelstoke for a season final 3 day ride. Rode my bike 120 hours this season and my sled went out 5 days. With these darn bikes the soft snow is as much fun to ride in as 2 foot of powder....

Next question. If i,m buying new bike /HM whats the best setup for backcountry?[My size is Medium..] 180 pd.
Not Mine.. setup is everything with a hawk, as is learning to ride it.
Snowbikes are so much easier to live with.
Depends on the amount of snow you ride. If you ride deep powder most of the time, get the long track. Otherwise, the short track is great. After you ride a few times, you'll know what you want. As to arm pump, yeah the first ride is pretty interesting depending on the conditions. If you have a couple inches of loose to ride, no prob. The more you ride, the easier it gets.
