Snow bike Insurance

Has anyone found a company that will insure a Snowbike. Not as a dirt bike but as a snow bike.

Talked to our insurance company and they checked many providers and none would insure it as a snow bike. Their concern was that if we insure it as a dirt bike and then file a claim it may not be covered if they look into it, such as how did you total or damage a dirt bike in Cooke City in December.

I only wanted to insure for fire and theft, no collision. They said sorry at AAA, Progressive said they could insure the bike with acc. but when the adjuster would come out and see a track(modified) sorry no can cover. It's hard to beleive we are asking the insurance companys to take our money and they say NO!

I'm insured with Geico as a bike with add ons. They listed the add on as a snowbike kit with a declared value. If I remember right I spent a little time explaining and making sure they list it a snowbike kit. Called several other companies and they could not figure out what I wanted.

It's pretty goofy the insurance company's will insure the kit as a add on, but may deny a claim because its been modified??? ANY add on is a modification!!!!! Pretty soon the companies will learn about snobikes and start covering them with a nicely inflated rate do to the increase value and use of the dirt bike!!! I go through Mutual Of Enumclaw, listed as a add on and its value, but have never had a claim.

State Farm covers mine as dirt bike and snowbike.

Mine is covered at IMT insurance I have a bulk policy home and auto snowmobile, boat, motorcycle.
