snow and trail report for Lk.wenatchee trail system

Just thought I'd pass along what conditions were today out on the lake wenatchee trail system. We rode out to Trinity first thing most of thevtrails around the lake were groomed nicely for the Rec Clubs poker run the trail out to trinity was great we found some fresh stuff to play in st the camp grounds and meadows. There is only about 4-5 feet out there and a lot of off trail areas are still stumpy that said you can find fun areas. Snowcone on the other hand has very little snow on it in fact its almost sll brush as is most of the surrounding area. From what I hear eagle creek area hss still not been groomed as the guy who does it is down with the flu (get well some Burt) still only 5ft max up top. Thats it Ride Safe Everyone.

Any update on the trails? I see they've been out grooming and we're heading over next weekend with the sleds. It will be the first time out for my wife so I"m hoping it will be a positive experience. We're renting a place in Chiwawa Pines and I think it's only a few blocks from the trail. Can't wait!

Yes, I'm curious about the same thing myself.

We have a cabin rented that we can ride from on Fish Lake during Presidents Day weekend but I'm getting kind of concerned that all the snow will be gone by then! :face-icon-small-sad

Rideable. Great if you are looking to crosstrain for moto-x whoop sections. Still brush poking out on snocone, trail on the north side of Fish lake is still a pond skim. Got intermittent rain/snow early this morning at the lake elevation, no net gain/loss of snow. http://www.lakewenatcheeinfo.com/ can be useful if you don't already know.

Rode up from Chiwawa Pines and did the loop up around Snowcone and a small loop north of the Fish Lake. We stayed on the trails, they were fine although 4 getting to Snowcone was a bit chewed up (kidney pounder) but over all trails were in good shape. Passed a few other folks but not too many. In all it was nice 31 mile ride.

It was the first time out for my wife & she's hooked. I've been told we're heading out again right after lunch settles :-)
