I have a Phazer pod coming to mount on the scoot. If anyone had pictures or tips on how to get this mounted cleanly I'd appreciate it.

Thanks

easiest way is to get the original phazer bracket mount ... an aluminium piece that clamps the handlebars in place and the fairing bolts up to ... only issue is that depending on bar setup / angle there isn't a lot of room between the fairing and the brake lever handle ... pretty close to the oil filler cap as well.
I added a 2" riser block on mine and spotted a piece of tube onto the steel bracket attached to the fairing and then added a couple of collapsable / crushable loops on top of the handlebar clamp so that I coule move the fairing a bit further ahead and angle it so that its more upright even when the bars are tipped back. Lots of clearance between the fairing and the break lever and the headlight is at a better angle as well.

I've got a Phazer bracket coming from ebay.

I'll have to get it before I know where things need to line up.

Any pictures on how you clearances for the oil fill? I got lost on your description.
