I am hopin someone can point me in the right direction and offer some advice.I am having soke bog issues in deep powder and believe I am injesting snow into the turbo as I have my exhaust split between tunnel dump and bottom dump.My turbo has direct intake from behind the shock tower with just screen over the face.I feel like I can put a 90° elbow and a few more bends to get it out through the top of the console to the right of the headlight but not sure what else I need to be concerned with IF I can make this work.Jetting?Air flow to turbo?Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have had my filter out of the machine since I built it. It does get snow stuck to it when I am in deep powder. The turbo holds it onto the filter worse than the stock location did in the same amount of powder. Mine is out of the side above the shock tower on the side pannel. Never had it any other spot though.

Go for the intake. Runs way better TP even has exactly what you need to get it done. Mine runs night and day different, might need to richen a bit but definitely worth the retuning!

Here is a pic of my intake, I extended the tubes when it was installed just to get it located where I wanted it! It's a tight fit though!

I think I have the same turbo setup as you. mine is based on an r&d kit. the 1st ride I had on mine I used the setup as urs is now and got snow/moisture in the intake. my turbo seems to sit very far forward and my only option was a 4x6 uni pod filter with a prefilter. I live in the east kootenays and ride fluffy stuff. im just tunin mine in still but here's how mine works in over the hood snow. it seems to breath very well fully submerged. I also have a side/corner exit exhaust which seems so have imporved in deep stuff. I couldn't hold it wot in this vid kus I need to add a lot more flyweight. 6psi http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4Y8AIcC6Yk

Thanks fellas!Simba,ya my kit is based off the r&d as well and I usually run 7-8 lbs. Of boost. Was wondering if you had a few pics of your snorkel set up.I am currently running my exhaust as a tunnel dump and seems to do a good job but am thinkin about doing my exhaust similar to your set up.

I found it on the uni website under pod snow filters straight 4x6 and it even comes w a clamp and fits very tight on the turbo. I'm just usin a prefilter I had but I'm gettin a kn wet charger 4x7 kus they don't have a 4x6. I had to hack a hole in my side panal/front panal

I just irdered a Cobrahead 90° fitting,a 90° mandrel bent pipe,a 90° 3"x4" silicone bend and an MC-xspresscage with pre filter..think I got it all figured out..Thanks so much fellas for your help..will post pics when I get all my parts here.
