snoqualmie pass

looks good does anyone have any pic from stamped pass. where is it better to ride right now there or gold creek

Rode with Paul on Sat and we unloaded just up the gravel from where the asphalt ends. Was a little gravel after the first turn then all snow. Would imagine you could get up past the first turn now. Oh that was Gold Creek.

We went up to Stampede on Saturday...Sorry No pics on here. I'm horrible at posting them. Still a good 2-3 feet of snow in some places.

We parked just before the road closed signs from the washout, just past the pavement. We hit some gravel, but not too much maybe - 1/8 of a mile worth?

The boondocking trail to go up is a no go....we went down the boondocking trail, but took a different route down through the trees, and hit snow almost the whole way.

Powerlines were alright. It was soft enough to carve, and we hit up Susan's hole (back bowl on the right), and there was good coverage there, and same with the freestyle field just below the powerlines.

Those were the only areas we went to. There was maybe 4 other sleds on the stampede side...we didn't bother trying to go to the lost lake side, since we got a late start.

Hey Icepole, I appreciate the invite, but I've decided to stick around here and ride on Saturday. Do you know what exit stampede pass is? I want to say like 62 or 63, but not entirely sure. I will definately look you up next year and se if you wouldn't mind a couple of us coming over and riding with you guys.

You should think about Baker.Went there early this morning.Only 2 of us on untracked fresh snow. Were there for 5 hours covering the whole mountain with fresh tracks before one more sled showed up...great riding, you won't regret the trip!
